Yesterday was the first Goodwood Breakfast Club of 2012 and with a Pre-73 theme the perfect opportunity for Mario to make his ‘new season’ debut. Unfortunately the weather thought differently and it was a dreadful day, heavy rain, wind and very cold. Mario wasn’t put off though and paddled his way over the downs demonstrating his new feature – an interior water fountain!! a combination of wind pressure and water against the screen caused a magnificent spurting fountain at the bottom of the windscreen.
The conditions meant the event was much quieter than normal but quite a few intrepid car fans had made the trip and Mario still got a lot of attention sitting on the grid.
